Citrus / Berries / Oceanic - Copine is easy to obsess over. Bright and Citrus at the top, she dries down into subtle notes of vintage champagne and velvet. "Copine" translates to mean girlfriend - weather she's your best friend or the love of your life, she's always there for you.

At the same time, Copine stays exotic. She has a youthful spirit, and a wild side. Grounded in nature (like all our perfumes) we tell the depth of her story through green notes, white florals, berries and a constructed accord to resemble copper.

Copine was certainly born "at sea" and came from memories of summers spent attending weddings in the countryside of Rome and Tuscany; and weekends on the Cinque Terre coastline. Sun, sweat, salt, Mediterranean plants, ocean minerals and champagne - this all arrives collectively in each energetic whiff of Copine.

Process

To quote Shakespeare:
"For I was born at sea /
At sea? What mother? /
My mother was the daughter of a king"
(Pericles, V.i.185-87)
Though this text was spoken by Marina, Copine shares her origin story, born at sea but with something regal about her. Copine compliments her wearer like a dear friend.

This perfume took over two years to conceive and develop.
Like all our perfumes, it is hand bottled with the up most care; never housed in plastic; and at least 80% organic.
